General Specifications
OPUS 8 updates DMX512 channels exactly at the same rate as the network media output rate. The powerful ARM processor of OPUS 8 guarantees a frame rate(fps) between 5 to 40 without any delay or frame loss.
Daisy chain connection of several OPUS or any ArtNet-DMX controller supported with 2 port ethernet switch on OPUS 8, eliminating the necessity for an external network switch. This makes the cabling within the controller cabinet easier than ever.
Indicator LEDs on OPUS 8 visualize the state of each output channel, ArtNet-related activity on the network, and the status of the device. Users can observe the data flow on output channels and ArtNet-related traffic on the network.
110/220VAC universal input. An external power supply is not needed.
OPUS 8 supports ArtNET 1/2/3/4 standards. Therefore, it is compatible with all ArtNET Control Software such as MADRIX 5, ENTTEC ELM, and Jinx that work in compliance with these standards.
The ethernet-based configuration tool simplifies the configuration and setup of OPUS 8. The tool allows users to modify the IP address, subnet mask, and gamma correction value. Universe-output channel designation also can be done with the tool.
3 Pin Neutrik XLR connectors are used in DMX outputs.
