SoChic Facade Lighting

Sezgin Group which is Turkey’s one of the biggest jewelry producer for over 60 years, built headquarters for SoChich brand in busiest location of Metropolitan Istanbul. The construction site is located by the Cemberlitas tram line and is completed by Mazeron Architecture.
Facade Lighting of the building, which was designed considering both historical and modern concerns due to its location, was completed by AIMTECH.

All phases from lighting design to commissioning were coordinated with Sezgin Group. For the building located in a historical area, it was requested that the fixtures not be visible from the outside. In this respect, project-specific application methods were used by AIMTECH.

In the building where the Wash X series is used as the main product group, CCT colors were chosen instead of RGB as LED colors. With this method, also called Tunable White technology, the lighting colors of the building can vary between 1800K and 6500K.

DMX512 was chosen as the control infrastructure in the project. Instead of address grouping for luminaires, each luminaire is operated as a single pixel. In this way, various animations are allowed.

The possible disturbances that may be caused by the lighting of the neighboring buildings due to the tight building structure of the region are also eliminated with the brightness adjustment specific to the luminaire.

It is designed to work for many years in harsh facade environments such as rain, snow and hail.

Compact Structure

The need for external control devices is minimized in luminaire groups, which have a compact structure with an internal control unit and power unit.

Saya Park | RGB Facade Lighting with DMX

Sayapark RGB Facade Lighting with DMX

Sayapark, Mersin’s most trendy living and shopping center; It hosts its visitors in the busiest area of the city with its dozens of different stores, brand diversity, modern architecture, and the most popular cafes and restaurants and now with RGB Facade Lighting. The shopping center, formerly known as Kipa AVM and now called Saya Park, serves the people of Mersin with its completely renovated building.

During the renovation of the building, a tower was added to the corner of the building. Facade Lighting Application, which offers both an economical and a visual feast, has been applied on the tower

In the tower, which we illuminated with the DomePie product group, the luminaires are mounted in a flexible structure to surround the tower.

AirLine MC and SlimLine series were used as products in the structure where 4000K colors were chosen as general façade lighting. These fixtures are in the fixed fixture group and do not change color.

Next to the main front entrance of the building, AirLine PX series luminaires are used to operate in sync with the tower lighting. ArtNET was used as the main control architecture in the project.

RGB Facade Lighting

Our company was chosen for the luminaire production, project design and commissioning activities of the Facade LED Lighting system planned to create an innovative and interactive light show on the Saya Park Facades. For the Tower, the DomePie series, which is one of the most preferred “RGB Pixel LED” type products in Exterior LED Lighting, was used. This product group, also called DOT Led, provides flexible mounting on building facades.

RGB Facade Lighting

DomePie RGB pixel LED luminaires, ArtNET DMX512 controllers and power supplies are used in the RGB Lighting system on the tower. With this structure in the form of a 3D Video Wall, unforgettable visual shows are made for everyone who goes to Mersin.

Flexibility

RGB DomePie luminaires embedded in the aluminum facade joinery surround the building with an uninterrupted light line. In this way, the architectural form of the building has become dynamic by emphasizing it.

AirLine PX

AirLine PX is used on the facades of the shops located at the front entrance of the shopping mall. These product types alsa called RGB LED Bar. AirLine PX series light fixtures have 7 pixels within one meter.

An Unrivaled Protocol “ArtNET DMX512”

The DMX512 standard emerged in 1986. RGB Led luminaires are controlled with the DMX512 protocol, which is frequently used in Exterior Lighting. The protocol is still used unrivaled today. All products used in the SayaPark project are controlled by ArtNET protocol.

The delivery of the project was completed by our commissioning team by giving the user trainings, which is the last stage, to the relevant team before the delivery of the project.

Thanks to the control infrastructure and control software of the project, which we completed, all the contents seen on the computer screen are transferred to the façade fixtures in real time. In this way, ease of use has been maximized. The user can change the facade images at any time, write on the facade on special days, create flag videos, in short, users can use the entire screen as they wishes.

Rize Tea Bazaar RGB Facade Lighting with DMX

The most impressive structure of the Tea Bazaar Project, which is owned by the Rize Commodity Exchange, was the tower in the shape of a huge Tea Cup with RGB Facade Lighting

The Rize Tea Bazaar Project, which was built in the coastal filling area of Eminettin District in the very center of Rize, was completed by performing ground leveling works on a total area of 9500m2, 4000m2 of which is indoor area.

RGB Facade Lighting

Our company was chosen for the luminaire production, project design and commissioning activities of the Facade LED Lighting system planned to create an innovative and interactive light show on the Tea Tower. For the Tea Tower, the DomePie series, which is one of the most preferred “RGB Pixel LED” type products in Exterior LED Lighting, was used. This product group, also called DOT Led, provides flexible mounting on building facades.

Due to the fact that the building is quite high and located right next to the sea, it receives a lot of strong wind. At the end of the negotiations with our project team and the contractor company, it was decided to put the fixtures inside the aluminum profiles. In this way, both the luminaires will be protected from destructive climatic effects. And the daytime visibility of the building will not be impaired.

The aluminum profiles, on which the fixtures are mounted, are drilled at 20cm intervals using precision CNC machining.

RGB Facade Lighting

12500 DomePie RGB pixel LED luminaires, 6 8-port ArtNET DMX512 controllers and power supplies are used in the RGB Lighting system on the tower. With this structure in the form of a 3D Video Wall, unforgettable visual shows are made for everyone who goes to Rize.

Flexibility

ArtNET DMX512

A total of 6 OPUS 8 Art-NET DMX converters were used to control 12500 DomePie fixtures on the tower. Thanks to the X2 speed option of our OPUS series controllers, 340 pixels instead of 170 pixels are controlled from an output channel at 30 fps. In this way, the control cost is halved.

With the ArtNET DMX512 standard, 348,000 RGB pixels can be controlled. OPUS series ArtNET DMX controllers are easily used in all professional systems with their wide output port option.

OPUS Series Art-NET DMX controllers were preferred for the control of point pixel products on the Tea Tower. OPUS Series Art-NET DMX controllers, of which all embedded software, mechanical design and hardware design are made by our engineers, are the first and only domestic production control device of Turkey with these features.

With the Rize Tea Bazaar Project, to provide more effective promotion of Turkish Tea, to provide tasting and sale of tea products with different characteristics and quality norms to consumer groups, to improve the marketing capacities of tea enterprises and to increase the number of domestic and foreign tourists visiting our city accordingly. It is aimed to increase the revenues generated.
In line with this goal, the Tea Tower in the form of a thin-waisted tea glass, which is the most impressive structure in the project, has become interactive with the LED system. With the special digital content we specially designed for the tower, the effect of filling the glass with tea has been applied. This content is made by our design team with Blender Physics Engine.

Our Wash and Wox series luminaire groups were also preferred for the fixed colored lighting fixtures used in the project. Body colors were chosen in accordance with the project needs, ensuring that the architectural aesthetics are not deteriorated.

3 YEARS WARRANTY

The standard warranty period of our DOT Series luminaire group is 3 YEARS. We offer a 3 YEAR WARRANTY without any additional charges.
